Pacherele, Pierre
B. 1803, Mirecourt, d. 1871, Nice
Pacherele was a contemporary of J.B. Vuillaume, both serving their apprenticeships in Mirecourt, and although both remained friends throughout their lives, their careers took very different directions. After Mirecourt, Pacherele worked in both Nice and Genoa, before moving to Turin to work as Pressenda's assistant. In 1849 Pacherele set up his own workshop in Nice. Pacherele's time in Turin greatly influenced his work, and his instruments can bear a close resemblance to Pressenda's own work.
